Join us May 8th for a FREE Breakfast at our Wayne Club!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey is having a FREE Breakfast to raise awareness and funds to support our Neighbors in Hardship Scholarship Fund (NIHSF). The NIHSF provides scholarships for local children of families in crisis due to a health issue, poverty, or another life-altering situation to attend our Clubs' daycare, preschool, after-school programs, summer camp, and sports activities.

Individuals who believe in our mission will serve as table captains and invite nine or more individuals (work colleagues, neighbors, family members, and friends) to attend our Boys & Girls Clubs' free, one-hour breakfast event. Along with a light breakfast, the program consists of a welcome and impact of our Clubs, Programs and Scholarship Fund, a video showcasing our NIHSF, a testimonial of a recipient family, and a request for support. Guests are not obligated to give, nor is a minimum or maximum gift required. We hope our program will inspire guests to contribute.

Table Captain's responsibilities include filling a table of ten, including you, and communicating with guests, and the BGCNWNJ Development staff. collecting pledge cards at the end of the breakfast event, and thanking your guests for attending.

The Breakfast is Wednesday, May 8th from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Guests will learn more about our Boys & Girls Clubs and the impact of our Neighbors in Hardship Scholarship Fund on local families in need and how they can help.

Although we continue to secure foundation and corporate support for this Fund, the need and requests for help outweigh our ability to offer support. With your help, the funds raised through this breakfast will enable more struggling local families to remain working while their children are cared for and thriving in our Club programs.   We hope you can join us!
