About Competition Cheer
Members from Kindergarten – 8th grade are able to try out to participate in our award winning Competition Cheerleading program. Squads are broken down into four different age groups and they compete in various competitions. All Competition Cheerleaders are required to participate in our Recreational Cheer program as well. Tryouts are held in May and the season runs through March.

Calling all K-8 cheerleaders interested in joining a competitive and fun cheerleading program!
Wayne Boys & Girls Club Competition Cheer allows athletes to build skills, compete at a high level and create friendships with teammates from their hometown. Teams in the program have reached the highest levels in rec cheer, competing – and winning – in Florida, numerous national championships and receiving paid bids to some of the most prestigious competitions in recreational cheer. This season alone, our teams placed first a total of 25 times, with all four current teams being awarded bids to the newest end-of-season event – The Recreational Summit in Tampa, FL.

2018 National Champions!
This year at the National Competition in Hershey Park:
- Seniors took home the National Championship for the SECOND year in a row!
- Junior team won second place
- "Minis" team won their National Championship division, and
- "Tinys" also won the National Champs title!
