BEFORE CARE and AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS (BC/ASP)

The Wayne Unit in partnership with North Haledon School District offer Before Care and After School Program at Memorial Elementary & High Mountain Middle School for members in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Programs give your child the opportunity to grow and develop in a fun and educational setting. Programs are licensed by the state of New Jersey and offer a safe environment with professional staff to meet your child’s needs.

Daily activities include: homework support, arts & crafts, sports and physical activities, supervised technology time, monthly themes, special events and more. We also offer Boys & Girls Clubs of America national programs including: Power Hour (an extension of their educational experience with prize incentives); SMART Moves (a drug, alcohol and peer pressure resistance program); and TRIPLE Play (a dynamic wellness program that offers a holistic approach to nurture the mind, body and soul), that help your child:

• Succeed in school
• Make healthy choices
• Stay fit
• Gain leadership skills

The BC and ASP follows the North Haledon public school calendar. We provide care on all scheduled early dismissal days. The program does not run if school is closed or dismissed early due to an emergency or inclement weather.
